Asthma Management Exhibit

Front Panels

The Story Board Exhibit on asthma management is designed for parents and their children between 5 and 15 years of age. It is ideally suited for educating children in public venues such as schools, daycare centers, hospitals, clinics and health fair events. The issues surrounding asthma management with children are numerous and complex; however, the Story Board Exhibit on asthma management has a simple threefold message which is introduced by a friendly canine character called "Trigger".

The exhibit encourages children with asthma to follow Triggers three steps to leading a healthy and happy life with asthma. The three steps are:

  1. Find out what your asthma triggers are.

  2. Learn to use your asthma medication the right way.

  3. Make an asthma action plan just for you.

Back Panels

The last message area is a summary of Trigger's three steps and an educational material rack where information can be displayed for children to take home. The educational material rack allows you to "customize" the exhibit with information specifically suited for your target audience. It is also one way to obtain measurable outcomes, by counting the amount of material taken.

The interactive nature of the exhibit, colorful graphics and clarity of message make the exhibit an excellent educational tool that can be utilized in a wide variety of settings.  The text messages printed on the banners are in English and Spanish.  The audio voice box messages are in English.

The exhibit is self-guiding and does not need to be attended by a staff person. It can be left in place for a day or several weeks at a time. The exhibit is five and one half feet tall, three feet wide and eight feet long. It is composed of four colorful panels that are double sided and attached to one another at right angles. There are four voice boxes attached to the exhibit at each of the key message points that speak to the visitor and expound on the message they see on the graphics in front of them. Trigger is mounted on a box that doubles as his storage box (you just flip him upside down into the box). This box also stores the voice box units that attach to the exhibit. The frame of the exhibit is a collapsible aluminum frame that fits in the banner tube along with the banners.

The artwork is printed on durable banner material. Banners are connected at the top in pairs and are draped over the frame and attach to the panel with Velcro tabs. The banners are stored in a high quality banner tube, which is on wheels. The exhibit can be setup or taken down in less than 20 minutes. For more information contact:

A note from Gary:

I have worked with hundreds of agencies nationwide and everyone has their own purchasing system.  Generally, I create an invoice for you and you submit it to your purchasing or finance office.   Once they generate a Purchase Order (PO) number I will build and ship your exhibit.  Everything is included in the purchase price, a complete exhibit, shipping and your logo and text on the banner.
