Voice Box Script One: Welcome to the Story Board Exhibit on Asthma.

Asthma is a disease that affects a person's ability to breath normally. Trigger wants to help people with asthma learn how to manage their asthma better. Follow his three easy steps to leading a healthy and happy life with asthma.

Step One: Find out what your asthma triggers are. An asthma trigger is something that makes your asthma worse. Each person has different things that can trigger their asthma. It could be tobacco smoke, cockroaches, air pollution, mold, your pet, dust mites that could be in your pillow or your favorite stuffed animal. When you find out what your asthma triggers are you need to learn how to avoid them. This could mean doing simple things like not letting your pet in your room, or asking adults not to smoke around you, or washing your bed sheets in very hot water once a week. Ask an adult to help you find out what your asthma triggers are and learn how to avoid them.
